Two for you today

I have two cards to share today, the first one is a baby boy card and the second one is the valentine for my husband this year. I'm really happy with how they both turned out and would love to hear what you think. I finally was able to get my hands on blending stumps and odorless mineral spirits yesterday so I could actually use my Prismacolor pencils that I bought months ago. These two cards are my first attempts at using them so keep in mind I am definitely still learning how to use them.

Supplies (all PTI unless stated):
Cardstock: Enchanted Evening, Aqua Mist, Lemon Tart, White (from my stash)
Patterned Paper: Joann's
Stamp: Sailboat (Dustin Pike) - digital
Other: Cricut Expression, New Arrival Cartridge (Provocraft), Apron lace punch (Fiskars), Fresh Snow satin ribbon, Prismacolor Pencils

I also found out after creating my valentine that Dustin has opened up a challenge blog as well and guess what? The first challenge was to create a Valentine's card using one of his images. SCORE. I'm excited to get to participate in this challenge - especially since my card was already made :)

Supplies (all PTI unless stated):
Cardstock: Scarlet Jewel, White (from my stash)
Patterned Paper: Throw Me A Line (
My Time Made Easy), Pure Poppy bitty dot basics
Stamps: Heart Bear (Dustin Pike) - digital, Mega Mixed Messages, Heartfelt Basics
Ink: Scarlet Jewel, True Black
Other: Dimensionals, Prismacolor Pencils, Apron Lace Punch (Fiskars)

  2. Well, you're a step ahead of me. I have the pencils but still haven't gotten around to the mineral spirits or stumps. I think you did a great job with the coloring!
